Schulungsziel
The goal of the Apache Hadoop Basics course is to provide participants with a foundational understanding of the Apache Hadoop framework and its key components. By the end of the course, participants will be able to grasp the concept of Big Data and the role of Hadoop in processing and analyzing large datasets. They will gain knowledge about the architecture and components of Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) for efficient data storage and management. Participants will also learn the MapReduce programming paradigm and develop basic MapReduce jobs using Hadoop. The course will cover setting up and configuring a Hadoop cluster, including the management of Hadoop daemons and properties. Participants will acquire the skills to perform data processing tasks using Hadoop, utilizing high-level tools like Pig and Hive. Furthermore, they will receive an introduction to YARN (Yet Another Resource Negotiator) for effective resource management and job scheduling within the Hadoop ecosystem. By exploring other components within the Hadoop ecosystem, participants will understand their integration and discover various use cases.
