Kurzbeschreibung

Dank der Java Servlet Technologie ist es möglich, ohne die Nutzung der CGI-Technologie oder Einsatz proprietärer Produkte (wie z.B. Microsoft Active Server Pages) dynamische Inhalte, z.B. aus Datenbanken ins Internet zu bringen. Da Java hierbei nur auf Serverseite eingesetzt wird, ist eine vollkommene Plattformunabhängigkeit erreichbar. Auf dem Client wird zur Darstellung lediglich ein HTML-kompatibler Browser benötigt.

Web Development with Java
